Ascorbic acid is extremely useful for the aesthetics of the plates and arrays. One soaking with your array in an ascorbic acid solution every 5 to 10 sessions will keep your array looking brand new and may even extend the life of your plates. The ascorbic acid is not intended to replace a cleaner for routine cleaning between sessions.
